Alila Seminyak Bali
Time Slows Down Here
Alila means “Surprise” in Sanskrit, which suitably describes the refreshing character of our properties and the reaction of our guests when they stay with us. This stunning beachfront resort evokes cool and natural sophistication, connected by shimmering pools cascading from a stunning backdrop of vertical gardens.
When it comes to staying in style, Alila Seminyak’s 240 rooms and suites, including one sensational 811 square metre, threebedroom penthouse, offer a spectacular experience. Housed in four separate buildings throughout the resort, the rooms and suites express contemporary style, composed of thoughtfully designed and usable spaces.
All rooms are designed to maximize views and are furnished with sliding doors, wide balconies and sun shading screens that blur the distinction between inside and outside thus enabling guests to fully embrace the beach side experience of this property.
The restaurant is designed to be an extension of the ocean and uses the wave direction as a metaphor in its layout and planning. The glazing is designed to completely open slide and hide, this helps blurs the distinction between inside and outside. A series of terraced outdoor decks shaded by a pergola and a large existing tree extend this experience right onto the beach.
Designed by Gaurang Khemka and his Singaporebased architecture and interior design firm URBNarc, the design team maximizes the resorts‘ privileged location offering stunning ocean views at every opportunity while maintaining an atmosphere of privacy and individuality.
