在过去的40年中，哈迪普拉那不断买入来自各国艺术大师的作品，如印尼艺术家阿凡迪比利时艺术家勒・迈耶荷兰艺术家鲁道夫・邦尼乃至中国艺术家李曼峰等。而后，这位巴厘岛著名的建筑师将自己于上世纪80年代初建造的家庭避暑庄园改建成为如今这间由20栋别墅组成的奢华酒店，并将自己珍藏的艺术品置于其中，供宾客欣赏。
圣所中的圣所
在这20栋艺术气息十足的别墅中，最为精妙绝伦的当属去年刚刚经过翻修的“哈迪普拉那套房”，全酒店仅有一间。
哈迪普拉那套房堪称整座酒店的焦点，面积阔达570平方米，其中占地60平方米的泳池格外引人注目。在极度私密的双卧室别墅空间中，博物馆级别的艺术品装饰着釉白的砖墙墙面，并且与现代巴厘岛风格的家俬交相辉映。室外下沉式“极可意”浴缸使宾客可以在沐浴的同时呼吸自然的精华，享受与之融为一体的惬意。
As the center of traditional art of Bali, Ubud is famous for its beautiful rural scenery and simplicity of folk customs. This is The Chedi Club Tanah Gajah Ubud. Hendra Hadiprana, owner of the resort, is one of the art promoters in Indonesia. He places precious art pieces around the resort and makes it a true gathering place of arts.
Enthusiasm for Art
The hotel is tucked away on the tropical island of Bali and surrounded by lush rice paddies with breathtaking views of Mount Agung. Take a stroll down the sculpturelined pathway to your suite that overlooks the lotus ponds, and then you’ll see what’s truly special about this glamorous hideaway.
In the past 40 years, Hadiprana has been purchasing works by great artists around the world, such as Indonesian artist Affandi, Belgian artist Le Mayeur, Dutch painter Rudolf Bonnet and even Chinese artist Lee Man Fong. Subsequently, the wellknown architect transformed his family’s summer home, which was built in the 1980s, into today’s luxury resort composed of 20 villas and placed precious art pieces from his collection around the resort.
A Sanctuary within a Sanctuary
Among the 20 artistic villas, the most exquisitely crafted is the one and only Hadiprana Villa.
The Hadiprana Villa is the focus of the resort, covering an area of 570 square meters and the 60squaremeter swimming pool attracts attention from the guest. The twobedroom abode features private ensuites, with the master bath emerging from the makeover with a secluded, sunken outdoor Jacuzzi. A museumworthy collection of art and artifacts grace the whitewashed brick walls and complement the modern Balinese furnishings of this completely private residence.
