carved Egyptian hieroglyph, a majestic waterfall designed with Asian Feng Shui knowledge to complete the energy cycle of the entire space... The mix and match of the Middle East courtesy, the ancient Egyptian design theme and the Raffles brand‘s Asian style here form a charming exotic atmosphere. The four life elements of earth, water, fire and wind run through the space as design clues. The earth is marble and warm color tone, the water is the water wall, the fire is candles placed in the lobby every evening and the wind is the natural flow of air in the vast space. The fourelement design rule is also widely used in the hotel‘s exclusive botanical garden and four presidential suites, each themed with one of the four elements.
Located on the side of the lobby, the Raffles Salon is renowned for its fashioninspired afternoon tea. Currently in collaboration with the floral brand Forever Rose, it launches a new afternoon tea with the theme of eternal roses. The menu contains floral essence with treats such as cured salmon with hibiscus extract, rose shaped brie mousse with edible flowers, scones with strawberry jam and rose water, Jasmine flavored chocolate ganache. On the Victorian style gold stand, the rose from the volcanic mineral soil of Ecuador is placed in a glass dome after special treatment and will always remain in a blooming posture. The afternoon tea time with friends will also become an eternal memory like a neverwithering rose.
