从巴斯塔基亚找寻灵感
故事始于上世纪末，随着卓美亚海滩酒店和划时代的卓美亚帆船酒店相继于1997年 1999年落成，卓美亚集团的一个愿景逐渐清晰，尚需建设一座新酒店，将绵延两公里的天然优质海岸线打造成迪拜旅游观光胜地，而这座新酒店应重现古老迪拜的风情。
项目团队走访了迪拜河，从阿法迪老城区迷宫般的大街小巷寻找灵感，确定了水道木船建筑风塔市集这几点核心设计元素。迪拜曾是以渔业和珍珠采集业为主的小鱼港，水道与传统的阿布拉木船正是起源自这一历史时期。始建于1890年代的阿法迪老城区，即巴斯塔基亚，保留着迪拜传统的阿拉伯民居建筑风格，采用厚实的夯土墙隔热并通过造型美观的风塔实现自然通风。阿拉伯传统市集则是昔日迪拜海湾居民区的核心。
以历史传统为素材，通过现代手法设计升级，和宫酒店于2003年9月开业，皇宫酒店夏宫酒店于2004年开业， 2016年开业的逸宫酒店成为收官之作，这四家酒店共同构成了规模宏大的卓美亚古堡酒店，绵延2公里的原生态优质沙滩至此有了依傍。一条3公里长的水道蜿蜒流转，客人乘着阿布拉木船穿梭于酒店内，欣赏风景如画的传统建筑和热带园林，充分体验迪拜迷人的阿拉伯风情。
花开四朵
卓美亚古堡酒店内先后开业的4家酒店各有精彩。292间客房的和宫酒店以沙色风塔独特造型夺目，酒店名字意为宁静之港。和宫酒店于2015年全面翻新，客房内古董家具深色木质墙面搭配华丽装饰及鲜艳色彩，令旅客感到身心愉悦。
皇宫酒店仿佛是雄伟而典雅的酋长夏宫，置身于其中，犹如走入“一千零一夜”的传奇情节。大堂内重达五吨的施华洛世奇巨型水晶吊灯流光溢彩，让人叹为观止。 2019年初，酒店的294间客房全部焕新升级，夺目的藏青色橙色及蓝色图案，旨在向华丽而现代的阿拉伯式风格致敬。
夏宫酒店的29座别墅群共设有283间客房，另有7座Malakiya皇家别墅，于2015年全面翻新。卧室客厅配备高雅纺织品和黑木家具，暖色调的房间呈现古色古香的阿拉伯陈设风格。每个别墅群的中心都有一个阿拉伯式仿古庭院，从苍翠花园尽可饱览壮阔的阿拉伯湾及卓美亚古堡酒店的全景。
2016年12月开业的逸宫酒店标志着卓美亚古堡酒店的最终落成。酒店名字意为海边的一缕清风，正宗的阿拉伯文化与充满现代感的设计在此完美融合。逸宫酒店坐落在海滩旁， 387间客房及43间套房均采用开放式设计，在房间内就能尽赏壮阔海景，随处都能感到海浪的旋律。
广阔乐园
卓美亚古堡酒店内的四家酒店设施共享，构成一个包含3公里河道 2公里原生沙滩 50家餐厅酒吧以及花园泳池剧院露天市场泰丽丝水疗及健身中心等内容的面积达40公顷的广阔乐园。

The Arabian Resort of Dubai

Drawing Inspiration from Bastakiya
The story began in 1997 with the opening of Jumeirah Beach Hotel and continued with the iconic Burj Al Arab Jumeirah opened in 1999. The Jumeirah Group planned to build one more resort to transform 2 km of coastline into a major tourist destination and this new resort should capture the spirit of Dubai. The waterway and the traditional Abras woodenboat originated from a historical period when Dubai was once a fishing village dominated by the fishery and pearl collection industry.Originally built in the 1890s, the old town of Al Fahidi,also known as Bastakiya, retains the traditional Arabian residential architecture of Dubai, using wind tower for natural ventilation. Souk was the center of a neighbourhood in the old world of Dubai.
Based on traditions and modern design upgrades,Jumeirah Mina A‘Salam was opened in September 2003,Jumeirah Al Qasr and Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf opened in 2004 and Jumeirah Al Naseem was the series finale opened in 2016. Together the four hotels form Madinat Jumeirah,where the 2 km stretch of original beach finally found its place. Inside the resort, guests can take an Abras on the 3 km of meandering waterways to discover why Madinat Jumeirah is the jewel of Dubai.
Four Beauties
Each of the four hotels of Madinat Jumeirah has its own attractions. The 292room Jumeirah Mina A‘Salam features a sandcolored wind tower and a unique, eyecatching look. The name of the hotel means Harbour of Peace. Newly refurbished in 2015, the rooms are decorated with antique furniture and dark wood walls with ornate decorations and brightened palette in line with the needs of today‘s discerning traveller.
Jumeirah Al Qasr is a majestic and elegant Summer Palace, being in it feels like being in a legendary episode of One Thousand and One Nights. The giant Swarovski crystal chandelier, which weighs five tons in the lobby, is aweinspiring. Early in 2019, the hotel‘s 294 rooms were all refurbished with stunning navy, orange and blue patterns to pay tribute to the flamboyant and modern Arabian style.
Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf has 283 rooms in 29 villa clusters as well as 7 Malakiya Villas, all completely refurbished in 2015. The bedrooms and living rooms feature elegant textiles and dark wood furniture, and the warmcolored rooms are furnished in antique Arabian decor. At the heart of each villa complex is an Arabianstyle courtyard that offers panoramic views of the magnificent Arabian Gulf and Madinat Jumeirah.
Jumeirah Al Naseem opened in December 2016 marks the final completion of Madinat Jumeirah. The hotel‘s name means sea breeze in Arabic, authentic Arabian culture and modern design blend in perfectly here. Nestled next to the beach,Jumeirah Al Naseem features an open plan design of 387 rooms and 43 suites, which offer a magnificent view of the sea. One can feel the melody of the waves in the rooms, on the terrace or in the restaurant.
A Vast Paradise
The four hotels in Madinat Jumeirah share facilities which consist of a 3 km water way, 2 km primitive beach, 50 top restaurants and bars as well as gardens, swimming pools, theatre, souk, Talise Spa and Talise Fitness，the total of which covers an area of 40 hectares.
In the morning, guests can play at the beach or the pool, enjoy swimming or sunbathing comfortably. In the afternoon, one can walk through heavy set doors of the Jumeirah openair souk, explore along the winding streets, admire the wood carved archways as sunlight peeks through, and purchase everything from artwork and perfume to fashion and souvenirs.
