Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx高级餐厅


其纯白无暇的米其林二星餐厅,是造访巴黎的时髦人士的不二之选。餐厅由担纲巴黎多家顶级餐厅设计的Jouin-Manku工作室设计,纯白的空间,是受巴黎高级时装的启发。


一进餐厅,就会看见一个私密的全白防水层,用作菜单的空白画布。白色布料装饰墙壁和天花板,给人以白云般的飘逸感,中央的椭圆形水晶灯仿佛悬挂在半空中。餐厅还配有Jouin-Manku工作室为酒店独家设计的餐具,白色和金色的法国瓷器,呼应了纯粹和法国高级时装的主题。


在这样优雅又时尚的氛围中,客人将会品尝到的是大厨提耶里.马克思(Thierry  Marx)的时髦菜肴。提耶里.马克思是法国最有影响力的分子料理践行者之一,同时他本人又十分热衷于亚洲文化。他将科技与应季食材、东方美学相结合,创造出全新的感官盛宴。小细节更是惊喜多多,例如餐单都被印在日本大米纸上,采用现代的分子料理技术呈现出优雅而别具东方的韵味。

Camélia 的花园时光


相比Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx,Camélia是更加轻松和随意的全天候餐厅,天气暖和的时候,最受欢迎的位置一定是花园中的La Table du Jardin,巨大的鸟笼形状设计,四周绿荫环抱,和朋友相聚于此,品尝主厨提耶里·马克思精心设计,融合了法式美食和传统日本料理元素的美食,实在是喧闹中一片惬意绿洲。推荐墨鱼面配独家调制的鱿鱼汁和香脆蔬菜。



文华东方饼店


文华东方酒店的饼店在全球都享有盛名,这家更是不得不提。巴黎文华东方酒店所在的圣奥诺雷街,是以面包师、蛋糕师的守护神命名。饼店的招牌甜点也是以街道命名的Le Saint-Honoré,年轻英俊的糕点主厨David Landriot,曾在新加坡和中国学习工作过,他将传统配方改良之后制成的新款法式甜品,人气居高不下。

提耶里.马克思(Thierry Marx)是法国最著名的主厨之一,主管整个巴黎文华东方酒店的餐饮。他曾在全球闻名的餐厅(包括 Ledoyen、Taillevent 和 Robuchon)培训过。1991 年在尼姆的 Cheval Blanc 力夺第二颗米其林星。 随后十年,他在 Chateaux Cordeillan Bages 荣获两颗米其林星,其后加入了巴黎文华东方酒店。

Opened in 2011, Mandarin Oriental, Paris is situated on rue Saint-Honoré and just steps from the Louvre and Place Vendôme, one of the most stylish districts in the world. The hotel is also surrounded by haute couture, including Chanel flagship, and only steps from high-end galleries and auction houses. The chic luxury of Paris and the gentle Eastern beauty inherent in Mandarin Oriental have blended well and created a unique staying experience.


In addition to 138 guestrooms/suites, the best places to experience the hotel service and the theme of the perfect meeting of the Eastern and Western are definitely the hotel restaurants and bars.


Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx 


The all-white Michelin two star restaurant is the place to go for the fashionable visitors in Paris. Along with many top restaurants in the city, the restaurant is designed by Jouin-Manku design studio. The white space is inspired by Paris high fashion.


On entering, guests discover an intimate all-white cocoon, which acts as a blank canvas for the menu. By draping the walls and ceiling with white fabric, we have created an impression of weightless clouds, while in the center lies an elliptic crystal seemingly suspended in mid-air. The restaurant is also equipped with Jouin-Manku studio designed tableware made exclusively for the hotel, with the white and gold French porcelain echoing the theme of pure and French haute couture.


In this elegant and stylish venue, guests will enjoy the chic dishes provided by chef Thierry Marx. Marx is the most influential French molecular cuisine practitioner, and he himself is very fond of Asian culture. He combines technology, seasonal ingredients and oriental aesthetics to create a new sensory feast. Even the small details are full of surprises, such as the menus that are printed on Japanese rice paper. His use of modern molecular cooking technology also presents elegant Oriental flavor.


The restaurant serves 5-8 course lunch and 6-9 course dinner menu. The classic cuisine includes diced soybeans risotto, shellfish mousse and roe sauce antipasto. Now with a glass of champagne prepared by sommelier David Biraud, the perfect life in Paris is complete.


The Garden of Caméli


Different from Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx, Caméli is a casual all-day restaurant. The most popular spot is no doubt the birdcage-shaped La Table du Jardin. Here you may enjoy French cuisine influenced by the culinary traditions of Japan with your friends in an oasis like heaven. The recommendation goes to Calamar risoni made with squid ink, tagliatelle of cuttlefish and crunchy vegetables.



Cake Shop


Mandarin Oriental is famous for its cake shops around the world. Mandarin Oriental, Paris stands on rue Saint-Honoré, named after the patron saint of bakers and pastry-makers. Naturally then, the signature pastry is called Le Saint-Honoré. These delicacies are created by Pastry Chef David Landriot, who once travelled to discover Singapore and China. He made the highly-popular new French desserts through the improved traditional formula.




Happy Hour in Bar 8


A sip of cocktail, and a bite of street food, this is the one and only happy hour in Bar 8. Chef Thierry Marx is not only a master of fine cuisine, but also a fan of street recipes from all around the world. The recommended cocktails are J’aime Paris 3.0, and Mandarule, mixed with Hendrick’s Gin,tarragon, passion fruit and ginger beer.

One of the most celebrated chefs in France, Thierry Marx oversees the Food &Beverage department of Mandarin Oriental, Paris. He was trained at world-famous restaurants including Ledoyen, Taillevent and Robuchon. He was awarded his second star at Cheval Blanc in Nimes in 1991. Following ten years at Châteaux Cordeillan Bages where he held two Michelin Stars, Thierry later joined Mandarin Oriental, Paris.
