As Alessandro Munge, the founder and design director of Studio Munge, puts it: ”We lead our guests on a journey of diversity, celebrating the local art and cultural customs through the details.”

On the first floor, the white bronze relief in the lobby, titled ”Splendid Zhuang Homeland”， created by local artist Shi Xiangdong, narrates the stories of Guangxi through three chapters: ”Historical Reminiscence”，”Enduring Mountain Songs” and ”The Silk Road Sets Sail”. The elevator hall features the ”Blessings of the Five Elephants” copper painting, flowing like a waterfall, with a sculpture of a divine elephant kneeling peacefully in front, symbolizing the legend of the Five Elephants Ridge: celestial elephants came to Liuzhou, touched by the simplicity of the people, and descended to help the farmers, transforming into a mountain range to eternally protect the land. Where is the song fairy Liu Sanjie Her figure, along with fellow villagers picking tea in the mountains, is depicted in the mural beside the escalator.

Upon arriving at the sky lobby on the 68th floor by direct elevator, the tripleheight space with panoramic floortoceiling windows and hollowedout lattice screens portrays multiple vertical lines, rendering the highest ShangriLa in the world with an extraordinary aura; the view outside is boundless: Qingxiu Mountain, Folk Song Lake, and the city‘s myriad lights are all within sight, making it a living room and viewing deck for the entire city of Nanning. Colorful and adorable Zhuang dolls standing on fish baskets take center stage in the view, instantly transforming the surroundings into a spring mountain filled with joyful songs.

The hotel boasts 320 rooms and suites on floors 72 to 88, designed with natural materials and earthy tones, embodying a style of understated elegance.
