In 2009, a classic Frenchstyle building at 19 Avenue Kléber, which has stood for over a century witnessing the era‘s storms, was sold for 460 million US dollars from the hands of the authorities. After several years of meticulous renovation, the Peninsula Paris opened in August 2014, marking the first step of this internationally renowned brand onto the European continent, and quickly won the Palace distinction.
