百年已去。 2012年12月，优秀的英国建筑设计所David Chipper field 受托的酒店翻修设计工程大功告成，Cafe Royal 以皇家凯馥酒店Hotel Cafe Royal为名正式重新开张。重修后的Cafe Royal拥有160间客房和套房，那几个满载历史传奇的餐厅酒吧和咖啡馆也随之重返舞台。是啊，当地报纸就将 Cafe Royal的再度开业称之为“一个戏剧性的复出”。建筑设计师为这座老建筑融入了现代的风格，但在公共空间里保留了19世纪60年代直到20世纪20年代的那种历史风貌，以求在向传统致敬和时尚选择之间达到一种尽量完美的平衡，来自Donald Install Associates公司擅长修复历史建筑的先生们功不可没；而在酒店房间与套房的设计中，设计师则力求展现整体内敛简约的当代风格，但同时又用石材与铜质缀出古典美学的痕迹，呼应 Cafe Royal 辉煌的历史。Hotel Cafe Royal，从此更加宁静而自信华贵而脱俗。
